The homeowners decided to have the new shower installed for two reasons.
#1 The Roman bathtub was very hard to climb in, and out of.
#2 The low window leaked when the shower was in use, causing water damage the the exterior wall.
When the project quote was made, there was a time allowance made for replacing the exterior wall, and new shorter window. The water damage was isolated to the exterior wall, and did not exceed the time, or materials needed to make repairs.
